I think racism is at an all time low, however race relations is still on shaky ground. We have grown to a point were we have a black president. We've also grown to point where one's life long career can end in an instant because of proof that someone used the N word once ten years ago. It makes national news if anyone of any significance says anything that remotely offends someone. I'm not sure if that's really an improvement. It seems to me that the hypersensitivity in our culture has outgrown the race relation progress we've achieved.

The white thug in the SC church murders was labeled just as he is, a racist, evil, a hater, etc.

Don't hold your breath on outliving ignorance. It affects much more than race.

I've heard of good catches at Clam lake.

Haven't seen any posts from him in awhile

It is refreshing to see someone not afraid to be policy incorrect leading the polls. I don't know if he'd make a good president but its a plus that he's not a politician.

Haven't seen anything posted in a while so here's some redfish. 23 - 32". Seldom use a tag but did this time.

Great. I clinked the first link and now have Gay Star News in my browser history. The second link is a perfect example of the distorted interpretation of scripture to support one's views.

Maybe you just haven't hung around enough polygamists and discussed it enough to know how they feel.

The problem I have with it, how will he tell/know someone is gay. Will they look different? Will you be asked before you enter? Is it a just a judgment call by the owner depending on how you look? Maybe it's just two men walking side by side? I wonder if he has the same sign on the front of his church? He may or may not have the right but there's a lot wrong with it.

I heard a comedian say he was for same sex marriage but they should make same sex divorce illegal and then see how bad they want to get married.

Don't underestimate or discredit the influence of the demonic principalities and powers in this world. Not everything has a biological explanation.

It's disturbing to wonder how you run across such stories.

Most on this board including myself have no problem stating our beliefs publicly on this board without first addressing our own personal issues.

I can't speak for Sarah Palin but she may just view things the way I do. I have two daughters whom conceived out of wedlock. I was disappointed but loved them no less and support them in everything they do. We've been blessed with grandkids. However, it has not changed my premarital beliefs one bit. Does this make me a hypocrite?

Another unfair comparison to label scripture supporting conservatives with hate and discrimination
-
I'm a lot more concerned about what God thinks about our country.
-
It's unfair to call conservatives hypocritical for supporting taxation, school choices, etc. but objecting to sinful union. Furthermore, I think it's quite degrading to lump same sex marriage (a sinful life style) with other civil rights issues such as race relations, gender equality, etc. We are on a very slippery slope (possibly blasphemous) to make these types of laws and still continue to claim to be one nation under God.

I watched it, They have a transgender contestant. The culture push continues, Very disappointing.

An evil person set out to damage the black race and do further damage to race relations in this country. A terrible tragedy, but there was no rioting in the streets, simply people of all races gathering together to mourn, cry, pray and forgive. The result was passionate heartfelt church services across this country and hand in hand peaceful walks of all races. The result is millions praying to our Lord almighty for peace and healing which may improve race relations. Out Lord can take a tragedy like this and use it for good. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
