  1. The media is being very careful in how they report what happened in 2016. When/If it is proven that a current administration was involved in rigging a Presidential election, that is going to be a HUGE black eye in the USA's quest for Democracy. How will the Democratic party address that the "threat to democracy" was them all along?
  2. Lets see if she breaks out. There is a reason they brought her there…..
  3. That would be a gift to the Republican party. So far, I’ve seen no one who could win a debate against Vance….
  4. This is about to be a big deal. I don't know if they have enough evidence to prove a case, but this is about to get a lot of air time. If nothing else, it is about to cost him (or tax payers) A LOT of money! [Hidden Content]
  5. I also don't recall any republican cities being taken over for days during the summer of love.........
  6. I wouldn't - but I think Washington being the capitol, it should be safe......
  7. I would say because Washington DC is our capitol......
  8. IS it called for? yea A political Stunt? Maybe - if so, and the outcome is Washington becoming safer, why is that bad? If it works, they should come to Beaumont and we wouldn't have a 1 in 73 chance of being a victim of a violent crime, versus in Texas it is 1 in 246......See the difference ?
  9. How does having the national guard in a supporting role to support the police in the 4th most violent city effect you? As far as "small government" - nothing was created or added......
  10. From what I have read, they are in a "supporting" role and won't be doing any arrest. They will be leaving that up to the police. They did say that would defend themselves if necessary. I would expect someone throwing a rock at them would regret it immediately.
  11. Did you hear his reference about a dirty front door? He said his Father told him that if he went to a restaurant that had a dirty door, not to eat there, because if the front door is dirty so is the kitchen. He feels that the capitol of the US needs to be an example of the rest of the country. He may be going about it wrong, or he may not, but I find it hard to disagree with making a city safer.
  12. You're a cop right..... Explain to me how this lady is a "threat" to the public in a minimum or maximum security prison? Do you think she is going to use a spoon and dig her way out of prison? Maybe over take a guard and escape? Honestly, I wish they would make everyone with these type of crimes either get hard labor (like making big rocks to little rocks) or just execute them......BUT, the same people who are up in arms about Maxwell being treated soft, are the same people who are against hard labor and execution.
  13. From your article "The homicide rate in the nation’s capital was the fourth highest among 24 U.S. cities in 2024, according to a report by the Center for Public Safety Initiatives at Rochester Institute of Technology that relied on local news reports and individual agency data. The three cities with higher rates than Washington were St. Louis, New Orleans and Detroit." So while crime may have come down, it is still 4th highest......Is that really something to be proud of for our nations capitol?
  14. Google yourself and see if he’s wrong. Pretty lame you call him wrong yet don’t provide the information to prove him wrong.
  15. He just pretends like Washing DC is not violent because he's been there over 12 times in the last 25 years and felt safe.......ignoring actual crime data that is what TDS will do to you
  16. The numbers are the numbers......Unless you're trying to dispute the numbers on practically every crime page I've gone to Beaumont and live in Port Arthur.....I've never been assaulted or obviously killed...but that does not mean the violent crime rate in Beaumont is not 278% above the national average in violent crime.
  17. He wants the US Capitol safe....... and fun fact, he is using the laws and the constitution to take care of it.....you know, Democracy stuff..... In 2024, Washington D.C. had a homicide rate of 27.3 per 100,000 residents, which is significantly higher than many other major cities in the US. The homicide rate in D.C. was nearly six times higher than in New York City. While violent crime has decreased by 26% this year, and the city has seen a reduction in overall crime, the homicide rate still remains a concern. The city's crime rate is higher than that of other major cities like Chicago and Atlanta.
  18. I sold my house right before the rates went up to the current level and moved into my childhood home. The plan was to build, but now thinking I may buy and existing home that needs to be remolded. I'm in no hurry because my current home is paid for. The problem is not a lot of houses on the market because people don't want to sell their homes and give up that 3% interest rate to jump on a 7% rate on a larger home. When the rates get to 5%, the market will be flooded with houses folks been wanting to sell for 5 years but was holding off for rate. That should force down home prices too.
  19. I think he's doing great things. His work on the neuralink is amazing. He has an opinion, likes some things Trump does and disagrees with some. That's pretty normal. The Democrats and the media are good at making catch phrases.......and the liberal left are good at repeating them......Just like the first response from @Boyz N Da Hood - was "President Musk". He was told to say it and he did....
  20. And as Baddog has stated, back to economy.
  21. And again, you can’t admit when you say something false. I posted the rules in black-and-white.🤷🏻‍♂️
  22. You have if you read the rules - may want to do a refresher 9) Keep to the subject. Post to the section that is most appropriate for the topic being presented. 10) To ensure that copyright laws are observed, post only the link to any articles, photos or other material originating from other websites. DO NOT paste the entire text of an article or photo here as such may violate the originating site's rights. In limited cases, PORTIONS of the text of a article may be allowed, but should be avoided if possible. #9 - the subject of this post is Economy not Epstein #10 - in one of your post you pasted from a Newsweek article and just posted "source Newsweek" but did not provide the link.
  23. I would say I'm more of an independent. I may seem like MAGA because I want accurate information. When I hear the media saying Trump said......I have to go back and actually hear it myself because the media twist it. Example, Epstein case is a joke. He said it but in context about him- he never stated or implied it was directed at the victims....yet that is how the media spun it. I have a problem with that because I do not like to be lied to. We are very lucky back when we only had 3 channels to get our news from that we were not brainwashed.
  24. He can't - he is quoting familiar sources....... Just like Michael Wolf wrote 4 books about trump - all lies and half truths, but Trump haters eat it up, and Wolf laughs all the way to the bank. The amount of money people have made off of Trump is insane. Think of all the attorneys that have been paid to challenge Trump, plus media, merch, etc...... But back to Wolf, his latest book he claimed that Melania met trump though Epstein, which is a lie, but I bet DCT read it as fact.......and James Carville had to apologize...... Carville said. "After the episode, we received a letter from Melania Trump’s lawyer. He took issue with our title of one of those YouTube videos from that episode and a couple of comments I made about the first lady. We took a look at what they complained about, and we took down the video and edited out those comments from the episode. I also take back these statements and apologize." [Hidden Content]
  25. That is how we get to lies stating Trump encouraged folks to inject bleach into their veins......
