  I think a curfew would be legal. They issue them in certain situations(TVC?)   There needs to be some community leaders calming down the protesters and let everyone do their job.

  Keeping track?, I went back 13 days......just to back up my point that the appearance of flooding is obvious by the people who want to see it.   If there is no rules on number of post, it really does not make any difference why Hoops was posting......   And for the record, I agree with A LOT of what Smitty and Nash post......but trading talking points back and forth was getting old......And the fact that only the same few people participate in the post, I'm not alone in that opinion.

  I think the Alfred case needed to find someone to convict.....the public was not going to accept that a "nice guy" with a family had a drug overdose. You can blame the people that were looking for "justice"   I think Oswald had help......lot's of it

  I don't think that is even disputable......Since August 1st, Smitty has posted 23 threads and Nash 17......The only other one close is TxHoops with 15 (and that was by design)...if you are curious EOC had 9 and BG had 5   I do agree the moderators should have been on top of this way earlier.....the name calling and attacking is pointless.

  I will speak for me......   I have an opinion that usually does not side with the extreme right or left. When a topic is posted, if I am not familiar with it, I will do some research. I will form my opinion and usually fall more to the right than left. I can't and never do ALWAYS agree with the extreme right.   This forum has become a dumping ground of right winged articles......   Debates have turned to arguments and questions are answered with another question. Posters are calling other posters stupid because they do not agree.   If you go to The Locker Room, although often heated, at least there is conversation and not JUST talking points.   All of the above is why this forum has become silly.

  Same here......unfortunately I average 1 to 2 speeding tickets per year.....(Deferred adjudication keeps my record clean)....and every time I have been pulled over officers have been ok...Some friendly, some not so much.....a couple pissed because I was young and going way too fast.....but I showed respect and never mouthed off....   Oh yea, and I'm going to say it......   Is it worse to kill "college-bound" young people than "non college-bound" ones? Is it more okay to shoot "non college-bound" kids? Are "non college-bound" young people worth less than "college bound?"   That has NOTHING to do with what happened.......The MEDIA trying to make the "perfect victim"   Maybe we should stick to the facts and find out what happened.....

    Ok....this is getting pretty stupid. I know for a fact there are bad cops and they make bad decisions all the time(and a very small percentage I may add). The cop that killed this kid may be guilty of murder(we don't have really any facts yet).....but I doubt after all this media attention a cop just threw down a pregnant women for no reason.
