  Big Girl, with your education I don't see how you would get barbarians out of my comment. My comments (clearly stated) were about the Michael Brown case. If you were as concerned about the case as I thought you were and did a little research, you would of known his parents claimed he was a gentle giant.  If you would, quote the line that you got barbarian out of?   I don't know you or your son, his age or his description......I could never make those comments because I simply don't know.   However, it sure seems when we have a discussion, there are a lot of sensitive folks out there.....can't have a discussion without feelings getting hurt.

If a riot starts because he is legally filming, he will not be the one going to jail. If he is harassing, that would be determined by calling the police.

  I will say again, there is nothing illegal with anyone filming coaches or players at a public event. If the school district property is considered private property, then it would be up to the school district to establish rules.......   So, if you want, you can get your camera and film him filming you.........nothing illegal.   [Hidden Content]   This is one link......there are several that say the same thing.

The board meets the first Wednesday of each month. The next meeting should be November 5th. I would find out location and have specific changes you feel should be made and present those respectfully.

Again, no dog in the fight but I believe you are wrong.   1. Anyone in public can have their picture taken or be recorded......if you think not, then what about the coaches and parents that record the game?  Should the bystanders or football players file harassment charges? I was filmed on the field years ago, can I file charges?  Answer = no.   2. While there may be no rules on how to document a complaint, is there a rule that says you can't video? Answer = no   3. Lastly, once you step on to a STJFL supported event, you go by their rules......they require you pay, you pay. They ask you to leave, you leave.   I understand you guys feel the STJFL is bad, but most disagree with that and no matter how much you talk on this forum, it won't change a thing......as a matter of fact, the more you talk and the less the board talks, helps the board, not you.   Please keep your reply respectful and follow the rules ;)
