  1. I'm a Lumberton conservative parent and my child is in the next school up......here is my only issue....   If he is a man and you can tell (did not see him) the kids would ask probably....why are you dressed like a woman,,,,,   I would like to be the one to explain it to my son....that is really my only issue.   Everyone has a right to values and how they chose to raise their children. Some parents are able to opt out of sex education and teach it themselves.....   I also think they should now change the dress code.....my son would like to have long hair.....and I would like to let him before he has to get a job!
  2.   Enjoy yourself......This situation does not bother me one bit.    I don't get my feelings hurt and support things JUST because of skin color or because I live in the town.   As it looks, LISD may have made a costly mistake.......but I don't really know the law.
  3. I'll see if I can get a picture
  4. First I heard.......lmao We need a picture!
  5. Too far ahead of schedule.....But start a thread and lets talk about it. I have no issues talking about anything in my school district......Good or bad......although unfortunately, this dwarfs in comparison to the issues at BISD ;)
  6. The New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense (NBPP) is a U.S.-based black political organization founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1989. Despite its name, NBPP is not an official successor of the Black Panther Party.[2] Members of the original Black Panther Party have insisted that the newer party is illegitimate and have firmly declared, "There is no new Black Panther Party".[2]
  7. And I thought this was a public forum...... If BISD would behave there would not be much to talk about..... But now we may need another server to keep up
  8. You would think in 5 months the DOJ or FBI would of at least said if the initial investigation was flawed......or some comments about the autopsy.....makes me wonder why
  9. Innocent until proven guilty
  10. Maybe someone asked the Sup. at the "let's talk" meeting.....
  11.     Sometimes I feel like it's a curse being right all the time.....   Alfred Wright protest turns physical between demonstrators and troopers     Over 20 troopers had to exit the building and keep the crowd under control. After the crowd did not exit the doorway, troopers mad a formation that pushed back protestors.   In video, several protestors can be seen being forcefully moved by troopers. "As far as demonstrators going into the DPS office; that cannot be done if it is going to disrupt normal business operations," DPS Spokesperson Stephanie Davis said.   [Hidden Content]
  12.   Double standards ??
  13.   Or nothing else can be proven to dispute the initial results.....   We shall see
  14. I don't know of any perfet system.......
  15.   You don't have a right to protest in a building while trying to conduct business
  16.   This happened in November and after handing it over to the FBI, Texas Rangers and who ever else, nothing else has happened or been discovered. It's been 5 months.....
  17.   They were on CNN.....
  18.     Participants in the protest demanded entry into the Department of Public Safety building.  Troopers stood side-by-side to keep them from entering the building.   A peaceful demonstration would not need 25 troopers side by side to keep people from entering the building.....    of course, I have never been to a protest rally...so that may be considered peaceful.
  19.   Maybe.....I think since CNN distorted a lot of the facts and made it a national story, anywhere would of brought media coverage.   They need to protest to the people that they have the problem with,,,,,,and I don't think it is Jasper.  IMO
  20.   I think so.....but that is not were he died. He died in Hemphill.  They are claiming he was lynched (according to the news).
  21. [Hidden Content]   It's not so peaceful......
  22. The Black Panthers are rallying in Jasper Monday afternoon in support of Alfred Wright's family and to protest the investigation into his death.   Why wouldn't they protest in the city it actually happened.......if they are concerned...           [Hidden Content]
  23.   Innocent people have nothing to worry about
