You know, statements like this crack me up. I am a 50 year old white guy raised in Port Arthur, in a middle classed neighborhood. I have relatives in South La and all over the Southern states. I have never been to one KKK meeting, never asked to participate in one and have no relatives involved in this group. The KKK currently has around 3000-6000 members in the U.S. depending who you believe. They are insignificant and have no influence on anyone I know. BUT, for some reason, a few people continue to bring this up.........

That is the problem. You do not, like many, understand or want to understand the law. Those questions proves: 1. You do not know the law. 2. You do not read TVC's post (he posts CASE LAW for Gods sake!) 3. You have not researched it yourself.

That is what sooo many people do not see. They think BLM movement will somehow make a difference. BLM should focus on teaching the law (and the CORRECT LAW) to their followers. TVC you really do a service when you make your law and legal comments concerning what police officers are burdened with. I hope folks in this forum are paying attention. Talk about making something out of nothing...... A speech is not copyrighted, and the words were general words and statements that anyone can feel, and those words accounted for maybe 5% of the entire speech..... Plagiarized, no..... Now, what the Trump campaign should do is admit they did not check previous speeches and fire the writer of the speech and move on. This can be around for a day or so, or a month.......up to Trump.

You should come ask some of the black folks that live in my neighborhood. It is funny, probably less than 1 or 2% black, yet our Wal-Mart is very diverse. I'm sure that is because it is much newer and cleaner that the Beaumont location. Our crime rate is well below state and national averages, so you really have nothing to fear. As for your open carrying comment, I would look at you suspicious. Since open carry passed, I have seen no one open carrying in Lumberton. I would look at anyone that is open carrying suspiciously, no matter what race. My suggestion is to conceal, that way you won't be a target/threat if someone does decide to pull a gun in a place you are at.

That is not the way law enforcement works. They do not have to say pretty please, they have to do their job. I respect your opinion of what you THINK should happen, but that is not the law. The officers are enforcing the law, and people are getting killed mostly for resisting, or attacking, or giving the cop to feel they are about to attack. We can debate as long as you want about what should happen, but if the laws are not changed, neither will Police procedure. I don't see how the laws could change. If someone does not want to get out the car once ordered, I can't see a cop going sit in his car and waiting him out........
